REASONS FOR REFUSAL

Application Ref No: 03/01159/B On Review

1. The proposed apartments, by reason of the site coverage and proximity to dwellings to the rear, would appear overbearing and unneighbourly and detract from the level of residential amenity currently enjoyed by occupiers of adjacent dwellings.

NOTE The applicant is advised that it would appear from the submitted plans that the current stair layout and dimensions would not appear to allow sufficient room for the safe carriage of some types of furniture and domestic equipment to the upper floors.

NOTE This review has been considered by the Planning Committee on written evidence. Any additional submissions not previously circulated to interested parties are enclosed herewith.
