Dear Miss Callow, re; Plan No. 04/1244; Erection of a conservatory on the side of proposed barn conversion, Ballacurn Farm, Ballacurn Road, Ballaugh. Applicant; Murgatroyd's Folly Ltd.

I have to inform that my Commissioners have now considered the above proposed development, and have to inform that my Commissioners are opposed to the proposed development as it is completely out of keeping with the earlier approval, and therefore would spoil an area of scenic beauty, which because of its positioning can be seen for miles afar, and therefore would be a blot on the landscape.
