## Officer’s Report

1. The site comprises the curtilage of "Nunnery Mill House", which was originally the Miller's House, and which was until recently known as the Dolls' House.
2. The application proposes the erection of a 2-storey extension to the west side of the building. The purpose of this is to provide wheelchair access to a first-floor bathroom.
3. The extension would be subordinate to the existing in terms of mass, and sympathetic in form, style, and detail.
4. In any case, the building sits below the path level, and there would be only modest visual impact.
