# Highways Division Objection Letter

Dear Sir

**PA/0952/B – Single storey extension to side of dwelling to replace existing detached garage – 106 Ballanorris Crescent, Ballabeg, Arbory**

The above mentioned applications have been considered by the Network Planning Section and the following observations will be forwarded to the Planning Committee of the Department of Local Government and the Environment as the response of the Director of Highways on behalf of the DOT Highways Client Group.

**Objection:**

In the absence of any indication that the existing drive is to be widened to take 2 cars side by side, or already does so, this application to remove the garage would reduce the available parking on site, resulting in more on-street parking, contrary to the interests of road safety.
