In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the application made by you on behalf of:

## Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No: 04/00575/B
1. The proposed farm workers retirement dwelling is contrary to the provisions of Planning Circular 3/88, relating to new agricultural dwellings, insofar as it is considered that the provision of a new dwelling in relation to the size of the associated farm holding is insufficient to warrant offsetting the general planning objections to such development. For the avoidance of doubt this refusal relates only to the proposed farm workers retirement dwelling element of the planning application.
2. This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
