### Officer's Report

It is proposed to construct 2No. dormers to the rear elevation of 65 Malew Street, Castletown, and 3 No. roof lights to the front elevation.

The front elevation is not readily visible in the streetscene, due to the narrow width of the road. The rear elevation is visible from the nearby Bowling Green, however, other properties within the vicinity have been similarly extended and both proposals are considered to be acceptable.

C 1 . The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2 . This approval relates to the plans and information submitted as part of this aplication and date stamped 27th February 2004.

C 3 . There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer. C 4 . The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
