The proposed extension, partially single storey and partially one and a half storey, results in the creation of an L-shaped dwelling. It is understood that this form of development has been chosen due to the restrictions of the residential curtilage of the dwelling. The design and form of the extension is considered to be in keeping with the character of the existing dwelling. The proposal is acceptable.
