## Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No: 03/00650/B
1. The proposed extension would, by virtue of its height and proximity, have an adverse impact on the adjacent property to the west (Number 57).
2. By filling in the space between the existing building and the boundary, and by establishing a precedent for further similar development, the extension would have an adverse effect on the street scene and on the character of this part of Governors Hill.
3. This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
