Planning Report and Recommendations General Report Site Visited YES/NO 1. The site comprises the curtilage of the Argyle Hotel at the corner of Harris Promenade and Church Road. The corner itself is not within the site. 2. The application relates to the ground floor, and proposes that the existing flat should be used as an estate agent's office. Also indicated, but not included on the application form, are new doors on the Church Road frontage (replacing windows), with ramped access to one. 3. Local Plan zoning: "Tourism and Leisure" Signed Date 3.6.03 Summary of objections/views HA - objection (no staff parking provision) LA - concerns re loss of res. acc., conflict with L. Plan zoning, and no staff parking DAO - accessibility etc. Recommendations Approve/Refuse Estate agents should be in the commercial area of the town.
