# Officer Planning Report

## Application No: 30201 ### Planning Report and Recommendations #### General Report **Site Visited** **YES/NO** 1. The site comprises the curtilage of a tenaced house on Kensington Road. 2. Proposed is the erection of a flag pole in the front garden — 18ft (5.4m) high for flying the Manx flag. 3. There are in the front garden models of Laxey Sheet and a horse train. 4. I think this acceptable, but the street would look rather bizarre if every house boasted a flag-pole. There can be disturbance from the halfwob. Perhaps 18ft is rather high. **Signed** **P.S.P.** **Date** 24.6.03 #### Summary of objections/views - HA and LA - no objections - 2B K Road: objection (horse, light, out-of-Keeping) - 3C K Road: out of place, disturbance #### Recommendations **Approve/Refuse** May be no higher than, say, 4m. **Signed** **P.S.P.** **Date** 24.6.03
