## The Advertisements Regulation Act, 1925

### The Local Government (Control of Advertisements) Bye-laws, 1952

**To:** Isle of Man Farmers, Ballalough, Richmond Hill, Braddan

**To:** Braddan Commissioners, Commissioners Office, Memorial Hall, Union Mills, Braddan

In pursuance of their powers under the above Bye-laws the **PLANNING COMMITTEE** of the Department of Local Government and the Environment hereby **PERMIT** hoardings to be erected and/or advertisements to be displayed by Isle of Man Farmers Ltd.

Provision of advertising signboard, access road entrance, Ballalough, Richmond Hill, Braddan.

In accordance with the application and drawings submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and approved by the Committee on the 4th day of November 1951, subject to compliance with the requirements specified hereunder and generally in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government (Control of Advertisements) Bye-laws 1952:

1. All advertisements displayed and sign board in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
2. Any hoarding or similar structure or any sign, placard, board or device erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
3. Any advertisement or hoarding shall not be cited or displayed so as to obscure or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal or signal for the control of safety of navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway or airfield.
4. Before any advertisement is cited or displayed on any land, the permission of the owner of that land, or of a person entitled to grant such permission, shall be obtained.
