### Reason For Refusal:

1. The retention of the front door would be contrary to General Policy 2 and Environment Policy 35 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 as it introduces an unduly inappropriate feature into the street scene, which will not preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and adversely affects the visual amenities of the locality.

This decision was made by the Senior Planning Officer in accordance with the authority delegated to her under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
