### The Site

The site represents the curtilage of the detached dormer bungalow, 10 Close Quane, located off Ballaquane Road, Peel. The dwelling sits at the head of the cul-de-sac.

### Planning Status

The site is located within an area identified as being 'Predominantly Residential Use'. The site is not within the Peel Conservation Area.

### Representations

Peel Town Commissioners recommend that this application be approved. The Department of Transport Highways Division indicate that it does not oppose this application.

### The Proposal

The application proposes the removal of an existing flat roof dormer window located on the rear elevation of the property. The opening would then be finished in roof tiles to match the existing.

### Assessment

The proposed development would improve the appearance of the dwelling and would not adversely impact upon adjacent properties.
