### Officer's Report

#### The Application Site And Proposed Development

The application site comprises the residential curtilage of a detached dwelling that is located on the northern side of Cooil Road in Braddan.

The proposed development comprises door and window alterations to the dwelling.

#### Planning History

Whilst the application site has been the subject of previous planning applications it is considered that none of these are specifically material to the assessment of this current planning application.

#### Representations

Braddan Parish Commissioners have no objections to the planning application.

#### Planning Policy

In terms of local plan policy, the application site is located within a wider area of land that is designated as open space (agricultural) under the Braddan Parish District Local Plan.

#### Assessment

The planning application seeks approval for door and window alterations to the dwelling contained within the application site.

The alterations proposed by the planning application are considered to be minor and unobjectionable. The proposal does not harm public or private amenity.

It is recommended that the planning application be approved.
