### Reason(S) For Refusal:

1. Whilst the proposed dwelling is considered to be innovative, the design is at odds with the existing dwellings in Churchtown. The proposal would thus be out of character with and detrimental to the amenities of the area.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
