In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Regulations the Department of Infrastructure has given **EXPRESS CONSENT** to Star Wash for the placement, erection and/or display of adverts in accordance with the planning application and drawings submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and approved on the 22nd December 2010.

In compliance with the requirements specified hereunder and generally in accordance with the requirements of the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005, the proposal now given consent is for:

#### Retention of painted wall mural.

The site for positioning the advert is:

#### Star Wash South Quay Douglas Isle of Man IM1 5AY

The conditions for such placement are:

1. This approval relates to the retention of a painted wall mural, as shown in the submitted site/location plan and photograph, both date stamped 20th October 2010.

2. This permission is for a period of 2 years from the date of the notice. After this date, the painted mural must be removed, unless there is by then planning permission extending the period.

This decision was made by the Senior Planning Officer under the authority delegated by the Department under Regulation 6(2) of the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005.

## Guidance Note

This permission refers only to that required under the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005.

The proposed advert may not be erected or displayed until either;

- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;

Whichever is the later.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
