Dear Sir,

**Re: P.A. No. 10/01332/B - Alterations to create new front entrance and first floor apartment - 18, Parliament Street, Ramsey for Harmony Homes Limited**

I am directed to advise that the Ramsey Town Commissioners considered the above application at their meeting on Wednesday 20th October, 2010 and have **no objection** to the proposal.

**Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority Comments**

The proposed alteration/extension must be connected to the existing drainage system to comply with Building Regulations and, if a new connection to the public sewer is required, this must be carried out in a manner acceptable to the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority.

All drainage works must conform to the requirements of the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority's "Manx Sewers for Adoption" and all necessary inspections/surveys [including CCTV] are to be carried out at the developer's expense.

Town Hall and Library, Ramsey, Isle of Man. IM8 1RT.
Halley yn Valley as Licarlann, Rhumsaa, Ellan Vannin. IM8 1RT
VAT Reg. No. GB 000 0631 62

Should this alteration/extension require a new connection to the public sewer, and in accordance with the Sewerage Act 1999, a communication fee will be payable to the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority in respect of this property being connected (directly or indirectly) to the public drainage system.

I trust that these comments will be brought to the attention of the Planning Committee when considering this application.

Yours faithfully,

P. S. Harrison

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
