The application site represents the curtilage of the semi-detached property 3 Aspen Drive, Ballawattleworth, Peel.

### Planning Status

The application site is located within an area identified as being Predominantly Residential use by the Peel Local Plan (Planning Circular 6/89). .

### Planning History

The following previous application is considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application:

03/01553/B sought approval for the erection of a first floor extension over garage and the erection of a conservatory. This was permitted.

### Representations

The Department of Transport Highways Division does not object to this application. Peel Town Commissioners recommend that this application be approved.

## The Proposal

This application seeks approval for the installation of a solar panel to the roof of the front elevation of the property.

### Assessment

The proposed solar panel would be to the front elevation of the property and would be fitted so as to be parallel to the roof line. It is judged that the introduction of the panel to the property would not result in any unacceptable impacts upon public or private amenity whilst contributing to sustainable energy production.

### Recommendation

Permit.

C 3. For the avoidance of doubt, the solar panel must be installed so as to be parallel with the angle of the roof.
