#### Proposal: Creation of new 2 bed apartment

The above application was considered by Port St Mary Commissioners at their Board Meeting on Wed. 17th February. The Commissioners have no objections to the application PA 10/00096/B.

It should be noted that it is not clear from application whether or not this is an actual conversion from a one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment in which case we would question the need for an application, or whether it is an amendment of PA05/92186/B approved Jan 2006, which would have lapsed if development had not occurred. No plan of the existing layout is provided and the description in the application implies the lapse of PA05/92186/B. Whatever, the reality of the existing condition of this apartment the Commissioners do not have any objection to its conversion to two bedrooms.

It noted the applicant has not discussed the matter with a planning development officer.
