I previously applied for permission for ¼ of the field to become recreational. I am now re-applying for less area to be made recreational for my own personal use. I wish to continue utilising the Isle of Man on a regular basis whilst continuing my involvement in the TT & Manx GP as a marshal. Since I have been the owner of the land I have been trying to support the local wildlife, I have a number of bird boxes and this season almost a third have been in use. I intend to reinstate the hedges around the field in the hope this will further enhance the wildlife. The remaining Part of the field will be left as agricultural and horticultural, I have planted fruit trees and cultivated a small vegetable plot. I will erecting stock proof fencing around the land with the Intention of there being livestock on the land. I will also be prepared to erect or plant appropriate screens if this is required.
