# Manx Roots Tree Recommendations

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Ridgway,

Following your request to initiate a programme of tree management on your property (field no.7835) in Ballaugh, please find below the comments and recommendations from our recent site visit.

The tree population on this site is primarily made up of self-set Sycamore, Ash and Elm. The trees are concentrated along the river edge and, following a brief walkaround inspection, appear to be in general good structural and physiological health with the exception of those listed below.

I understand that you are keen to keep the mature trees and, where possible, take steps to manage and improve the group. For these reasons we have identified 29 no trees which are unsuitable for retention due to their structural or physiological health, or their adverse impact on neighbouring trees or the wider group.

The information provided here is intended to accompany a tree removal license application and is not intended to be a tree risk assessment. Following this first phase of tree removal, a cycle of standard visual tree assessments can be put in place to manage risk into the future.
