In pursuance of their powers under the above Acts and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you

Approval in principle for erection of agricultural livestock building, Close Veg, Glen Darragh Road, Glen Vine, Marown.

which was considered at a meeting held on the 11 October 1996, subject to the compliance with the conditions or modifications specified on the attached schedule, numbered 1 to 7.

Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town & Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, byelaw, order or regulation.

Note 2: NO WORKS MAY BE COMMENCED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS -

a) the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
b) any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
c) the time for requesting an appeal in relation to any decision at review has expired; or
d) any appeal has been completed.

SCHEDULE OF CONDITIONS Application No. 96/0909

1. This approval is in principle only and does not permit the undertaking of any development works prior to the approval by the Committee of the reserved matters (design, external appearance, internal layout, landscaping, means of access).

2. This approval will remain valid for a period of two years from the date of this notice.

3. The building must be clad in a dark brown or dark green coloured sheeting a sample of which must be submitted with the detailed application.

4. The new building must be sited close to the existing dwelling, as shown in the submitted drawing.

5. The detailed application must include a detailed landscaping plan which seeks to mitigate the visual impact of the building. In particular planting should be introduced of broadleafed AND coniferous trees, between the building and the former railway line public footpath.

6. The building must be used for agricultural purposes only.

Note: The applicant is advised to endeavour to keep the ridge height of the building to a minimum.

7. There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.
