### Planting of Native Plant Mix to Bank

### Timing

Planting to the bank area to commence following planning confirmation in November/December 2019. Planting pits to be excavated 1.5 times the depth and twice the width of the root ball.
Organic compost to be incorporated into the planting pit with existing soil.
An organic fertiliser applied to the planting pit to encourage root establishment.
Planting pit to be back filled compost soil mix and firmed into position.

### Hedge Planting to Top of Bank

### Timing

Planting to the bank area to commence following planning confirmation in November/December 2019.
Planting pits to be excavated 1.5 times the depth and twice the width of the root ball.
Organic compost to be incorporated into the planting pit with existing soil.
An organic fertiliser applied to the planting pit to encourage root establishment .

### Wild Flower Seeding

### Timing

Wild flower seeding carried out April/May 2020 is the optimal time to carry out works.
Spray of existing weeds 2 weeks prior to seeding commencing.
Cultivate ground and rake out.
Sow wild flower seed at 5grams per metre  grass  wild flower native mix from Manx wild flower.

### Planting of Trees to Wild Flower Area

### Timing

Planting to the bank area to commence following planning confirmation in November/December 2019.
Planting pits to be excavated 1.5 times the depth and twice the width of the root ball.
Organic compost to be incorporated into the planting pit with existing soil.
An organic fertiliser applied to the planting pit to encourage root establishment.
Planting pit to be back filled compost soil mix and firmed into position.
Trees to be double staked with cross bar and tree tie.

### Existing Tree Protection During Works

Existing trees to be protected from machinery equipment damage to overhead branches and damage to roots, this is not seen as a problem as works carried out by hand and heavy plant will not be used in the planting process.
