I have to inform you that the application made by

Mr. C. I. Sunter - Conversion of barn to farm dwelling,
Field No. 3647, Menay, Greeks, German, (Resubmission)

- 14th January, 1975.

was APPROVED by the Planning Committee on 7th January, 1975,
subject to a condition(s) (inter alia) that:-

(9) No trees may be felled without the PRIOR
permission of the Isle of Man Forestry, Mines
and Lands Board and the Planning Committee
(10) Landscaping and the planting of young trees and shrubs
must be carried out according to a scheme which must be
submitted to and approved by the Isle of Man Forestry,
Mines & Lands Board and the Planning Committee which to
the commencement of any building works.

(4) All services including electricity and telephone must be laid underground to the satisfaction of the Planning Committee and arrangements for the supply of such services acceptable to the Committee must be made PRIOR to the commencement of any building works.

(5) The access must be designed and constructed to the satisfaction of the Highway Authority and the Planning Committee.

(6) The access road to the farm must be made up to a satisfactory standard to be specified by the Highway & Transport Board, such work to be completed prior to the commencement of any work on the barn.

(7) A written undertaking from all persons using the road from the East Rhenny to the Peel-Douglas Road stipulating that such road will be maintained in a reasonable state of repair, must be submitted to the satisfaction of the Planning Committee.

(8) The roof must be slate or a slate-like material to match the existing dwelling, to the satisfaction of the Planning Committee.

(9) No trees may be felled without the PRIOR permission of the Isle of Man Forestry, Mines & Lands Board and the Planning Committee.

(10) Landscaping and the planting of young trees and shrubs must be carried out according to a scheme which must be submitted to and approved by the Isle of Man Forestry, Mines & Lands Board and the Planning Committee PRIOR to the commencement of any building works.

(11) The dwelling must be occupied by a foreworder or a person engaged in agriculture and such tenancy must be subject at all times to enquiry and approval by the Planning Committee.

(12) Adequate provision must be made for the storage and collection of refuse to the satisfaction of the German Parish Commission and the Planning Committee.

(13) Adequate fire precautions must be taken to the satisfaction of the Planning Committee and the Chief Fire Officer must be consulted PRIOR to the commencement of any work.

(14) The respective water and electricity authorities must be consulted regarding the adequacy of services prior to the commencement of any building works, to the satisfaction of the Planning Committee.

(15) The size, design and position of the septic tank and its seakeway shall be to the satisfaction of the Apples officer.
