The applicant wishes to convert the existing office space into four treatment rooms with associated staff room and reception. In addition to being a beauty salon the premises with also be used for the training of beauticians.

Occupancy

With 4 treatment rooms there would normally be 4 beauticians and 4 customers at a time. When teaching there can by up to 8 students with 4 teachers. It is unlikely that the building’s occupancy will exceed 12.

Working hours

Normal working hours are 10am to 4pm however, teaching can take place until 9pm.

Parking

The building comes with 2 parking places in the adjoining car park. For visitors there is disc parking in the surround streets and Chester Street car park. Most clients work in central Douglas and arrive on foot.

Waste Storage

There is a dedicated bin store for the businesses at the lower level.
