## PROPOSED CHANGE OF USE at THE DOME, BALTHANE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, BALLASALLA for TOURS ISLE OF MAN

### Supporting Information Statement

This application seeks to change the use of The Dome, Balthane Industrial estate, Ballasalla from an Industrial unit into a commercial coach park for Tours Isle of Man. The current Use Classification of 4 Akerman Court, Balthane Industrial Estate, Ballasalla has been confirmed with Ms Marie Connan and is suitable for the proposed use of the building by Tours Isle of Man.

Attached is a letter from Mr David Midghall, the Managing Director of Tours Isle of Man, dated 23rd January 2015, which outlines the current business set-up of the coach business. It goes onto explain how the proposed business will operate from The Dome and 4 Akerman Court and outlines the future development of the business.

There will be no alteration to the floorplan of the existing Dome building, which currently comprises of a large covered space with vehicle and pedestrian entrance doors in the South West elevation and a single Fire Escape door in the North East elevation. 4 Akerman Court is currently undergoing internal alteration works to incorporate a staff rest room, toilet facilities and an office for use by the Tours Isle of Man company.
