The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning applications:-

11/00802/B Mr J Ven Der Berg trading as Nilus Inc – Tholt y Will Country House Sulby Glen Sulby – Installation of solar panels to dwelling. All agreed.

11/00805/B Mr and Mrs Harland Curlew House, The Garey, Lezayre – Erection of detached building for the storage of vehicles and equipment. The Commissioners agreed to this planning application but would like to raise a query regarding the siting of the storage building. One plan indicates that the building will be sited on the old railway line and another indicates it to be sited in front of the old railway line. Please clarify.

11/00854/B Mr and Mrs Finch Thie Noa, Clenagh Road, Sulby- Alterations and extensions to dwelling. All agreed

11/00877/B GAOH Energy Limited Goah House 2 Canning Road Lowestoft Suffolk – Erection of meteorological wind monitoring mast – field 132696 Narradale Sulby Isle of Man. Refused 3-1 majority. The commissioners feel that the information supplied within the application is rather vague. Could more information please be supplied to identify what it is for, and the long term need for this mast.
