The MEA would like to object to the above planning application, unless one of the following conditions is met: There is an 11kV overhead line crossing the proposed site and MEA require a 10 meter corridor, either side from the outside conductor which is free of all trees, to be created. The MEA shall also require the right to keep the area clear and trim any tree branches which encroach upon this corridor. Or The overhead line could be routed under ground, however this will also require a 5 meter corridor or the equipment could be diverted around the site. MEA will not accept liability for any costs incurred for the above. Planning Department (Tel. 687781), to discuss the electricity supply for this application. 3. If the applicant requires to connect any private generation to the M.E.A. electricity supply they must make an application to the M.E.A. as soon as possible.
