#### The Site

The site represents an area to the south west of the spine road to the north of the loop road which serves the south western side of the estate. The site accommodates a range of relatively recently built industrial units (see planning history).

#### Planning Status

The site lies within an area designated on the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982 as Industrial.

#### Planning History

PA 90/1747 - a) use of land for storage of plant and machinery and b) erection of boundary fence - both permitted<br/> PA 01/1739 - erection of workshop and storage units - permitted<br/> PA 04/1704 - extensions to storage units to create additional units - permitted

PA 05/0532 - change of use of recently approved workshop to stores and erection of additional stores extension - permitted

### The Proposal

Proposed here is the change in roof slope - still mono-pitched - on the unit at the north eastern end of the site.

### Assessment

This change has little if any visual impact on the appearance of the complex and is not adverse.

### Party Status

Malew Parish Commissioners and Department of Transport Drainage Division are statutory authorities and should be afforded party status in this instance.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the alterations to the roof as shown in drawings reference AT 652.1 Rev 4, AT 6522Rev 3 and the location plan all received on 7th July, 2006.

C 3. There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.
