#### Site

The dwelling on land adjacent to Tree Cassyn, Tromode Road, Douglas, is a two storey detached property which is located on the southern side of Hilary Road.

#### Land Use Zoning

The site has been zoned under the Douglas Local Plan Order 1998 as being within a predominately residential area; the property is not within a Conservation Area.

#### Proposal

The application proposes the alteration of a window position to approved dwelling (04/02347). The window in question is within the master bedroom (1st floor); it is proposed to be moved 2.6 metres along the side elevation towards the front elevation.

#### Representations

Douglas Corporation – no objection

We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.

### Assessment / Recommendation

The alteration of the small bedroom window would not impact upon the residential amenity of any of the neighbouring properties, especially due to the heavy vegetation surrounding the site.

For these reasons the proposals would seem appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval. I consider that the following meet the criteria of Government Circular 1/06 and should be afforded interested party status: Douglas Corporation
