# Officer Planning Report Recommendations

## Planning Report And Recommendations [Table omitted in markdown export] [Table omitted in markdown export] [Table omitted in markdown export] ### Considerations ### Written Representations ### Consultations

### Officer's Report

#### Site

The dwelling 22 Banks Howe, Onchan, is a large detached single storey bungalow which is located on the eastern side of Banks Howe, east of Harbour Road. The site has been zoned under the Onchan Local Plan Order 2000 as being within a predominately residential use.

#### Proposal

The application proposes replacing the existing window with hardwood double doors to the rear elevation to provide disabled access. The existing window and brickwork will be removed to make way for the proposed double doors to be installed (same width).

#### Representations

The Onchan District Commissioners have considered the application and have recommended an approval

We have received no privately written representations objecting to the proposal.

## Assessment / recommendations

The proposal is a very minor alteration to the rear elevation of the property and one that will not cause any adverse impacts to the detriment of the property or that of the neighbouring properties.

For these reasons the proposal would seem appropriate in these locations and therefore my recommendation is for an approval. I consider that the following meet the criteria of Government Circular 1/06 and should be afforded interested party status: The Onchan District Commissioners
