# Building Conservation Officer Note

Thurwood Place, West Quay, Ramsey is both registered and located within the Ramsey Conservation Area. The proposed is the replacement of "defective" timber windows with PVC as per the JAT above which had been replaced some 3 years ago. Whilst this approach in a registered building would not normally be acceptable, the glazed bay is a later addition and the alteration to upvc would unify the current scheme. This should not be seen as a precedent for registered buildings or those in a conservation area. Signed: [Signature] Date: 19/9/15
