The application seeks approval for amendments to a previously approval (PA 03/00805/B) for a sun lounge extension and conversion of outbuildings at a detached dwelling in Bride.

The amendments comprise of a further extension of the sun lounge extension, the addition of new chimney stacks and internal alterations. I consider the amendments to be relatively minor, to be without significant impact and to be unobjectionable. Accordingly, I recommend that the planning application be approved.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This approval relates to drawing no.s 5011/1, 5011/2 and 5011/3 date stamped the 11th February 2005.

C 3. The accommodation created by this approval must only be used as accommodation ancillary to that of the existing dwelling. For the avoidance of doubt, no approval should hereby be conferred by this approval for the use of the new accommodation as a separate dwelling.

N 4. For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services, telephone 695949.

N 5. The applicant is advised to consult with the Fire Safety Department with regards to the provision of appropriate fire precaution measures.
