# Officer Planning Report

Maux Telecom, Queen Victoria House 41-43 Victoria Street, Douglas B not in a conservation area. Initially the drawings were difficult to understand, but following consultation with the applicant's agent and further information showing the signage, the scheme is considered acceptable. 1. The site comprises the "footprint" of the Telecom building on Victoria Street. 2. Within a potential conservation Area. 3. The application, under the Adverts Bye-laws, seeks approval for the erection of a sign over the entrance from Victoria Street. 4. The building is, I think, only about 15 years old, but sits reasonably comfortably into the streetscape. There is a projecting sign near the corner. Signed Date 26.4.05 HA and LA - no objections 1. Judge this to be acceptable, but refer to S. Moore for comment. Signed Date 05/359 Approved 29.7.05 Standard Adverts Eye-laws notice and conditions
