The application seeks approval for the conversion of part of a redundant barn into holiday accommodation in Jurby.

The barn readily lends itself to sympathetic conversion into holiday accommodation and approval in principle for the conversion was previously granted through 03/00634/A. There are no objections to the proposal and I recommend that the application be approved.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This approval relates to drawing no.s 0446/1/1 and 0446/1/2 date stamped the 21st September 2004.

C 3. In order to preserve the character of the barn all windows and doors hereby approved must be constructed of wood.

C 4. Between the beginning of Easter and the end of September the buildings must only be used as holiday accommodation, with no individual let exceeding four weeks in duration.

N 5. For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services, telephone 695949.

N 6. For a change in the water supply to a premises (domestic or commercial) the applicant should contact the Isle of Man Water Authority Byelaws Inspector (Les Quayle), telephone 695957.
