**PA04/01455/B – Conversion to dwelling – 42 Main Road, Onchan**

The above mentioned applications have been considered by the Network Planning Section and the following observations will be forwarded to the Planning Committee of the Department of Local Government and the Environment as the response of the Director of Highways on behalf of the DOT Highways Client Group.

#### Objection:

1. It would not be possible within the site constraints to provide for parking arising out of the proposed dwelling, resulting in additional parking on the highway, contrary to the interests of road safety.
