### Officer's Report

1. The site comprises the curtilage of an office building on Finch Road.
2. The building is Registered.
3. The application proposes engineering operations:-
- (a) to extend the car-park at the rear; and
- (b) to erect two lamp-posts in the existing car-park. 4. Six parking spaces would be created by constructing a concrete retaining wall and deck over part of the slope at the eastern end of the car-park.

Subject to satisfactory treatment of the outer faces of the walling, I see no objection to this proposal. No need to wait for Department of Transport.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. Prior to the commencement of any works, there must be submitted to and approved by the Planning Committee details of the treatment of the outer face of the proposed concrete walling; this treatment should be such as to break up and add interest to the appearance.

C 3. Subject to condition (2) above, this approval relates to drawing number 47.1.04 which is date stamped 26th July 2004.

I confirm that this decision accords with Government Circular No 57/01 (Delegation of Functions to Director of Planning and Building Control).
