1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

2. This approval relates to the installation of replacement windows which are wooden-framed sliding sashes having, where appropriate, arched heads to match the shape of the apertures; these windows should match the existing in terms of section and detail.

NOTE The applicant is requested to consult the Department's Conservation Officer regarding the possibility of refurbishing the existing windows; grant assistance of up to 50% is available towards the cost of appropriate works.

This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
