REASONS FOR REFUSAL

Application Ref No: 04/01037/PART

1. The removal of the chimney will visually unbalance the pair and be detrimental not only to the appearance of these prominent buildings but also to the streetscape in general.

Note: no explanation has been provided to clarify why the chimney has to be removed.

2. This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
