## Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No: 04/00781/B
1. Loss of the chimneystacks would affect the visual balance of the building and would lessen the interest of the roof-scape; the proposed development would thus fail to preserve or enhance the appearance and character of the Conservation Area.
2. This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
