### Officer's Report

The site represents the long row of houses backing onto Ballafletcher Road in Cronkbourne Village, a group of Registered Buildings owned by Braddan Parish Commissioners. The properties have been significantly modernised and renovated and are now all occupied once again.

Proposed here is the replacement of the existing rear doors with aluminium ones. The existing wooden doors have suffered shrinkage.

The doors are in rear annexe which are new features, replacing the earlier flat roofed extensions which were of poor form and appearance. These doors are generally not seen as they are in the side of the rear annexe which are shielded from view by the annex int he next door property.

The new doors are aluminium in material with two glazed lights in the top three fifths. This will increase the amount of light available in the rear hallway.

Discussions have been held with Mike Jackson from the applicants' architects and the Conservation Section who are happy with the proposal.
