# Planning Officer Report PA 03/1854

## Planning Report **PA 03/1854** **Site visit? No** **Photographs? No** ### The Site The existing CCI Tower, Raby, Glen Maye. The area has High Landscape Value and Scenic Significance. ### The Proposal Installation of 3 antennas, 2 300mm diameter transmission dishes, a dark green ground equipment cabinet and ancillary development. ### The Planning History 00/76 - Erection of replacement mast - approved ### Views/Comments **DAFF** - No objections **Highways** - No objections MNH - concerned about visual intrusion. There is no mention of how the developments fit into an overall programme; is it to solve a localised problem? Or are there to be more masts? MNH wants an integrated approach in line with the policy statement of the CoTA committee which is shortly to be issued. Is there a need? Patrick Comms - Colour of the mast? Signal strength and polar diagram information requested. ### Assessment The mast is already in situ. The additional structures will not have any adverse impact on the scenic value of the area. ### Recommendation Approved
