Application no. 03/01899/B Site visited NO Planning report and recommendations General report The application seeks retrospective permission for the erection of dog kennels with runs for working dogs and an associated feed and equipment store on the rear of an existing outbuilding at West Kella in Lezayre. The applicant has indicated that the development was erected without planning permission due to a misunderstanding that it was permitted development. The development is relatively minor and required as part of the operation of West Kella. The new buildings are not readily visible within their surroundings and do not detrimentally impact on any neighbouring properties. I consider the development to be acceptable. Summary of objections/views DoT Highways Division - No objection Lezayre Parish Commissioners - Objection, clarification sought over the grounds for retrospective permission.
