### Proposed plans for Junior House, King Williams College.

#### Room 1;
Main entrance for the children, and the only access to the rooms that we will be using. Front door will be a fire exit, as well as fire exits in rooms three and four. This room will also be used as a literacy room and a quiet area for the children, and also an area for staff to talk to parents.

#### Room 2;
This room will be the dining area for the children. It will also be used for art and craft. A small kitchen will be installed including a large fridge for the children's lunch boxes and a standard fridge for food and children's medication. Cupboards needed for food for children's snacks ECT. Two sinks needed, one for dishes and other for staff to wash hands (there will be a sink in the toilet area for art materials and soiled clothing.)

#### Room 3;
This is the main playroom for the children and will be divided into two sections, 2 year olds and 3 year olds. The total number of children will be 24, with the staff ratio of 1-8. The children's day will consist of play activities that are based upon the six areas of learning and staff will implement a relevant curriculum that builds upon the children's experiences and interests, getting them ready for the transition to the foundation stage.

#### Room 4;
Toilets, potty training and changing area. There are currently 2 adult toilets, and 2 sinks, and a large shower area. One of the

Toilets will be for staff use and the other to be replaced with a child's toilet and 2 more are required. The sinks need to be replaced for children's and 1 more is needed. Also needed is a sink for soiled clothing and the cleaning of art materials. A safe nappy area is needed for the staff with easy accesses to changing materials. There are two large windows that will be used for ventilation and are child safe.

Total number of children on the premises at any one time 24. Total members of staff 2 fully qualified 1 assistant and 1 manager 4. Out door play area is still to be confirmed. Out house will contain washing machine and a dryer for the children's laundry.
