## Planning Statement - 48 Malew Street

As parking in both Malew Street and Hope Street can be difficult at times we have purchased a plot of land with planning permission for a large single garage adjoining our property as shown on the block plan. We seek planning approval to make an opening in our boundary wall for double wooden gates with a stained brown finish to enable us to get from our property to our parking area. Please note that we own the land on both sides of our garden wall.

In addition we seek planning approval for an opening in the wall, with wooden door similar to other properties in the lane, for our neighbours at number 46 Malew Street to gain access via our land to Hope Street. This door would be partially obscured by the corner of the garage.
