The extension comprises of two-storey extensions to each guide end and to the rear of one end of the dwelling. The existing driveway is proposed to be altered to allow access to the stables to the rear. Birkle Commissioners object to the proposal on the grounds that it is not in keeping with other properties nearby. SMEC object to the proposal on the grounds that it is within an area of high landscape value and represents a substantial increase in the footprint of development. A previous application (02/12/22) might extend the application to the building. This application was adopted of appeal on its design (extensions, dormed, patio).
