The proposal includes the installation of sliding sash windows, replacement roof slates, external wall cladding and a replacement shop front. The upgrading of the existing and creative of additional office accommodation is considered to be an acceptable use within this town centre location. The physical changes are all positive steps (installation of wooden sliding sash windows, the use of natural slates, hardwood traditional style shop front) that will improve the visual amenity of the property and the surrounding area.
