## Planning Report and Recommendations ### General Report **Site Visited** ☑ YES / ☐ NO 1. The site relates to land adjacent to the Bollyn Road Ballagh. The land is in agricultural use but has no buildings. 2. Proposed is the erection of an agricultural building, to be sited one fields distance from the road. 3. Size 22.5m x 22.7m with a ridge of 6.1m. 4. The lower section could be constructed in blockwork. The upper section could be green sheeting. 5. Considering its isolated position, advice was sought from DAF. 6. DAF confirmed W. Christian signs 80 acres of oldie land and tests 100 acres. The agricultural action does not consider the building to be "overused". ### Summary of objections/views - DAF - support - Ballagh - ok - DAF - defer for service info. - confirmed vehicles will be tractors, vans + texts. ### Recommendations **Approve/Refuse** The building will be visible in the landscape from points further north and perhaps from higher viewpoints inland. It is unfortunate to allow a room or isolated building close to the roadline but with DAF's support the building is acceptable.
