The site is within a Conservation Area which came into operation on the 1st of September, and the building is of architectural interest and attraction; in these circumstances, the existing windows should be refurbished, if practical, or, if necessary, replaced with wooden-framed windows which match the existing in all respects.

NOTE The applicant is advised to consult the Department's Conservation Officer to discuss the availability of grant assistance towards appropriate works.

NOTE This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
