## Department Of Infrastructure ### Memorandum **To:** Miss Jennifer Chance, Head of Development Control, or Mr Michael Gallagher, Director of Planning and Building Control **From:** Mr Edmond Riley, Planning Officer **Subject:** Condition Discharge **Date:** 26th November 2015 --- **Re: 14/00093/D – Proposed Signage at Cool Road, Douglas** The above application sought and gained Consent for a number of signs throughout the site, details of the illumination for which were not provided at the time of the application’s submission. The details now provided are clear on the lighting units proposed. They would be satisfactorily limited in size / scale and, crucially, would have limited wattage that, in turn, limits the brightness of the illumination itself to a level appropriate for this location adjacent a busy highway. It is therefore considered that the details proposed are sufficient on which to discharge the condition. It is to be noted that at least one sign erected on the site does not fully match the signage approved in that the installed sign is purple in colour (rather than red as indicated) and has a full LED digital display as opposed to the basic lettering as shown on the submitted details.
